However, I don't think that Pandora should take that decision from the user. Then the zdepth AOV would use a separate outputdriver which is not overridden by Pandora and would be saved as 32bit. You could set the driver for the zdepth in the AOVs tab of the Maya render settings to "exr" instead of "". Many people don't really know that 16bit is usually enough and only some AOVs like zdepth need 32bit. Yes Pandora set the "Half Precision" checkbox during the job submission for the defaultArnoldDriver.
